PROPYLENE OXIDE PRODUCTION UNIT

Techinservice begin manufacturing constructing and building of pilot plant to production of propylene oxide from propylene and hydrogen peroxide by epoxidation reaction with using TS-1 catalyst.

The distinctive feature of patented by Techinservice technology is used acetonitrile as a solvent that`s why the process is named HPPOa.

It should also be noted the use of the catalyst TS-1 which was made by our patented technology and the production method of which is different because of using solid pyrogenic silica as a source of silicon`s ions.

The HPPOa technology successfully passed the laboratory test and is at the stage to commercialization of plant with capacity of 2,730 t /y on the platform Karpatnaftochim ltd.

The start of pilot plant is scheduled on June 2019.
