Techinservice® Filter Presses Started Up & Commissioned in Kazakhstan

Techinservice has completed start-up & commissioning of four filter presses at Merke Sugar Factory, which is a part of LLP «Central Asian Sugar Corporation» (LLP «TSASK»), the major player in the sugar market of Kazakhstan.

The plant of four KF1200 filter presses with filtering area of 600 m2 is designed for filtration of 2nd carbonation liquor in the case of cane raw sugar processing and 1st carbonation slurry in the case of sugar beet processing.

SimpleSug® automatic control system installed by Techinservice Intelligence® allows making a fine adjustment of filters presses functioning and meets the Factory’s essential requirements, namely:
– low content of sugar and moisture in the discharged filter cake;
– low dilution of the filtrate with wash water;
– considerable saving of energy costs in whole.

These filter presses were supplied on a turn-key basis – from demounting of old vacuum filters up to putting the filters presses into operation and staff training.
