Distillation-rectification plant designed by Techinservice for Zaharni Zavodi, Bulgaria

Тechinservice Manufacturing Group has started shipping a distillation-rectification plant with capacity of 60 000 litres/day to Zaharni Zavodi AD, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the Bulgarian food industry.

Distillation-rectification plant designed by Techinservice for Zaharni Zavodi, BulgariaThis rectification plant is a tailor-made product supplied on a turnkey basis. It has been designed in a very short time by using the Techinservice® patented know-how, namely: vacuum fermentation technology, vapour permeation method and the unique industrial system of dehydrated food-grade ethyl alcohol production distinguished by preliminary absolutization (dehydration) of ethanol by means of pervaporation in the vapour phase, with further removal of by-products.

All equipment was manufactured in Ukraine by own Grebenky Machine-Building Plant (GMZ®). Also,  Techinservice Intelligence® automation engineering department has developed a new software solution called SimpleEthan, a sophisticated automatic control system for monitoring the alcohol production process.

This invention of Techinservice® can boast production of high-quality food-grade ethyl alcohol of strength of not less than 99.8% with properties going beyond the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 110/2008 by the following parameters:

  • weight content of esters – not more than 0.2 g/hl;
  • weight content of aldehydes – not more than 0.1 g/hl;
  • weight content of high alcohols – not more than 0.1 g/hl;
  • weight content of methanol – not more than 0.2 g/hl;
  • steam flow for process purposes – 2.1 kg per litre of absolute alcohol.
